Each January, Montgomery County Community College produces an annual report for its constituents that recaps the major initiatives of the past year as they tie to the goals of its strategic plan. The report is used by the college President and Board of Trustees for legislative advocacy and is distributed to community leaders, donors and other stakeholders. The entire process takes 4-5 months, from planning through printing and distribution.
I am particularly proud of MCCC’s 2015 annual report–Beyond Access: Transforming Lives in a Changing World. While I have planned and written the college’s annual reports for the last decade, I also participated in the art direction for this one, including the cover concept, which I feel captures the students’ pride in their accomplishments.
