I had the pleasure of interviewing members of the rock band Molly Rhythm last week for a segment that aired during The Grunge Garage on Montco Radio on Jan. 6.

Journalism is my first love, but radio is a close second. As an alumna of Montgomery County Community College’s student radio station Montco Radio (formerly known as WRFM), I have the opportunity to continue hosting a show; The Grunge Garage airs on the first Friday of every month from 3-5 p.m. You can stream it live on MontcoRadio.com or via the mobile TuneIn app.

The show allows me to express my musical tastes — namely punk and grunge — that aren’t always appropriate in a professional communications setting. Best of all, it allows me to meet talented musicians and practice my interview skills!
